Interior finish materials include clear cedar ceilings, local ohia hardwood cabinetry, sand grain veneer plaster, plus travertine and Ohia floors. Exterior materials consist of copper shingle roof, steel doors and windows, integral color cement plaster, cedar eaves, coral stone columns and travertine pavers.
Situated on a very private 2-acre site at the end of a cul-de-sac within the gated Kauna’oa at Mauna Kea community, Kauhale Kai has sweeping views of the ocean and sunsets and access to a myriad of amenities within the Kauna'oa community. The beautiful white sand beach fronting the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is less than a 10-minute walk or 2-minute golf cart ride away.
